Summer Outreach Ministry

Many homeless people struggle to survive living outside without the basic necessities of Life. Water is key in the prevention of dehydration during the heat of Summer. Our part is to get out “ice cold bottles of water”  to all who have little or no access to running water.

Summer Projects 

Summer presents many challenges for the homeless. Extreme heat causes numerous health issues, so along with Water we hand out:

• Summer survival kits
• Sun block
• Food cards for meals
• Summer clothing – sandals, socks, T-shirts, and hats

Clothing for Summer Outreach 

During the summer we hand out clothing that helps the homeless survive. Shorts, t-shirts sandals and even sun hats provide a block from the heat of the sun.
