Well the Winter has almost come and gone and we are trying to meet the demands when colder than normal nights come upon the homeless. This past month was wet and cold with above average snow fall. A number of the homeless were needing extra covering that they just did not have.
Twice this month we went out delivering winter survival kits and sleeping bags to many of the homeless right in front of city owned building like the hospitals and government building, with 100’s of workers passing by. This is very disturbing as many are able to help in tangible ways but just walk by.
We also were blessed to have many clothings donations this past month enabling us to help many living on the streets with clothing such as winter coats pants, shirts, gloves, hats and much more. Pray for you friends as we continue to help those in need living on the streets in this great city.
