This certainty has been a different year for us. The weather has been 20% warmer and the homeless in crisis situations are far and few compared to other years.
The cold has been at par so far but we are headed for some cold weather in Febraury.
But our ministry is all set to get out there during these cold days and make the lives of the homeless much better.
We have collected over 10 heavy blankets and 21 sleeping bags along with 20 winter survival kits compliments of the bargains group here in Toronto. With the cold and snow once again headed our way we are heading out this week during the evening hours to hand out these valuable items.
So far this year we have handed out over 2000lbs of fall and winter clothing thanks to so many faithful donors that I can’t even name them all- TO God be the Glory!!!
But leaving that all aside we are thrilled to mention that I am celebrating 20 wonderful years of ministry in downtown Toronto. What a miracle, a testimony and a privilege to have served seen and experienced all that God did and wanted to do through me all those years.
