February was indeed a very difficult month for Toronto’s homelesss. The average temperature was -20 wind chill daytime and it made it especially difficult for those that were not heading into shelters or were turned away. But Souls for Christ Ministries was there to aid in the help of Toronto’s homeless.
To date we handed out over 100 sleeping bags and ground pads, over 80 Winter Survival Kits, over 150 Winter coats and over 600lbs of winter clothing.
We made many trips to the inner city as well to local shelters who requested coats and winter clothes to help their clients who were staying outside on the streets. We dontated hats gloves, socks, scarves, food and so much more to help the street people surivive the cold of winter.
As well at Christmas through generous donations we handed out new hats, gloves shirts, socks, scaves, food, other winter clothing and much more all to aid the homeless of Toronto.
