Summer was very hot and we made it intentional to get out and hand out Summer hats, and some protective wear for the homeless to help them block the sun. We partnered with the Bargains Group to hand out over 400 bottles of water to the homeless all across the downtown core.
Along with the water handed out Summer items and summer survival kits many times in different places to help those living on the streets.
Shelters continued to ask individual street organizations like us to assist them with food, clothing and more because of the number of homeless refuges living in the shelters and on the streets downtown.
